Concerted Intercessory Prayer:

To the LORD of the Harvest
The Fields are White unto Harvest and the Laborers are few . . . .
Therefore, go and make disciples . . . .
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost . . . .
For the harvesters, church planters
For the resources, partners in church planting

To develop and implement a process that will enable our partners in their selection of those who are called by God to plant churches.

Some may ask,

“Don’t we have enough churches?”

The better question is,

“Do we have the right kind of churches for the different kinds of people that need Christ?”

There is an urgent need for your church to engage in this activity of partnership church planting.  Church planting is a proven, effective way to make Christian disciples.  Lost people have a deep need for the gospel to come to them.  The moral decline in North America, the rise in popularity of non-Christian faiths, the increasing diversity of the North American population, and ever-emerging new generations all point to a need for a bold thrust in missions.

“People are different. Communities are different.  Not everybody eats vanilla ice cream, you know.  We live in a Neapolitan world. And God began to put in my own heart to say there's still a mixture of people in this community that's a little bit further out from the immediate community that we can still reach, but it won't be reached by our context, so the idea came: 'Let's plant a church!'”  Pastor Robert Anderson Maryland
